If you have not been using an Outlook app on your computer to access your email, begin by adding your ASU Outlook account to the Outlook app. In this set of steps you will be copying from the ASU Outlook cloud email service to your computer. Similarly if you used the ASU Outlook direct address as a target for forwarding instructions from within another email service you are using, now is the time to change that forwarding address to your new address. If you have given anyone your direct ASU Outlook address (i.e., an address ending in or possibly ) you should give those people your new address.
Choose Non-ASU Email Forwarding, enter your new email address, and then click on the link in the verification email account that is sent to your address. You'll need to log in with your ASURITE UserID and password to do this. You can direct new email messages sent your new address by managing your ASU email address. You don't want new emails to go to your old ASU Outlook account. Once your new account is open, you will want to start receiving new emails there right away. Your new email address and your new account are most likely the same: they end with Be sure to make note of both the address and the associated password. If you do not already have one, follow Microsoft's instructions to create a new one. NOTE: ITS does not provide support for any app/add-in (purchased or free) from the Microsoft Store, Office Store or Teams Store.Next, you will need an account on. Any app/add-ins purchased for any other Microsoft 365 product will no longer be available for use. Retirees only have access to Exchange Online. If you leave the university, you will lose access to any app/add-in that you purchased (whether with university or personal funds). All purchase of apps/add-ins (free or paid) from the Microsoft Store, Office Store or Teams Store are non-transferable and are permanently tied to your A-State account. All purchases must follow the standard university procurement procedure.
